SDK 6.2.0 is here: Engineered to elevate your edge AI workflow
We’re back with a new update to the Ambient SDK and this one’s all about refining the experience, not reinventing the wheel. With SDK 6.2.0, we’ve added features that give developers more flexibility, better performance, and less friction at every step.
Whether you’re building time-series models, streamlining deployment, or just tired of digging through outdated documentation, this release makes the process smoother.
Let’s take a look under the hood.
LSTM Support Is Here
Sequential data? Sorted.
SDK 6.2.0 now includes full support for Forward LSTM models with advanced stack configurations like:
- Stacked LSTM (excluding LSTM as the final layer)
- LSTM-FCN
- CNN-LSTM-FCN
- LSTM-CNN
You also get quantized LSTM output using packerout, making it easier to deploy optimized models on ultra-low power systems. If you're working on anything voice, health, or motion-related, this upgrade gives you the temporal intelligence you need, without the overhead.
Python 3.10.11 Compatibility and Cleaner Dependencies
We’ve upgraded the SDK’s compatibility to support Python 3.10.11, along with a refined set of Python dependencies especially for data science workflows. This means better integration with modern ML tools, smoother environment setup, and fewer headaches during development.
Introducing GPX Compiler v5.0.0
The compiler just got smarter.
Our new GPX Compiler (v5.0.0) is tuned for edge use cases. It brings better support for hybrid model configurations, more efficient compilation, and faster feedback when you're iterating. Think of it as a power tool built to handle both precision and speed.
Docs That Work Like Dev Tools
We’ve also made updates where it really counts, the documentation.
Here’s what’s new:
- A completely refreshed User Manual v6.2.0
- An updated FOTA guide for smarter over-the-air deployment
- A reorganized Compiler User Guide that makes finding what you need a breeze
Everything’s cleaner, easier to search, and written with real-world usage in mind.
